Pirates.

Fall.
Fall.
Fail.

As hard as I try and push forward,
a part of me keeps looking back.

.....

My friend Andy wrote this song
many many moons ago.
It was always my favorite,
but he doesn't play it anymore.
Or maybe he does.
I guess I wouldn't know.

We are not pirates.
Why do we arrrrrrgggghhh-ue?
I wish things were simpler.
Does it really matter
who is right
and who is wrong?

Stubborn.

I'm gonna' catch you.
Catch-22.
A no-win situation.
A double blind.

.....

"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22,
which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was
the process of a rational mind.
Orr was crazy and could be grounded.
All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did,
he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions.
Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't,
but if he was sane he had to fly them.
If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to;
but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to.
Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22
and let out a respectful whistle."

.....

Sometimes I feel like Orr.
Trapped in my own self-made Catch-22.

I wish things were simple.
Wishy. Washy.

This has got to be the most pathetic post ever.
Listen to me whine.
I sound like I need a good whooping.

Perhaps I'm just bummed because the lovely shoes I ordered last week
are too small.

If the shoe fits.
